I would like to see a stronger connection between the Millard schools and banking institutions. Many banks have programs geared to help educate students on good financial habits. First National has a "Teach Children to Save" program in April that is free of charge. We come from a school that also had a monthly bank day where older elementary children were the "bankers" and all children could bring funds to deposit in their savings account with additional incentives/prizes at the end of the year.
