Our children are no different then us in that there are always going to be areas in which we sometimes struggle. Some students struggle in math, others in reading, etc... I think it would be good to pull together small focus groups to help them in areas they are needing assistance in. We all know our children are not good at asking teachers for help. This way they do not feel singled-out and can see that they are not the only ones needing help in certain areas. Regardless of how well a child is doing in school, there will always be at least one area they could use help in. Teachers should be able to split the class into groups to focus on areas students need a little extra help in. Plus it could give them a little more one-on-one attention. This would be great for the grade school level.
