Coming from a well respected student in my High School community, i am disgusted and sometimes appalled by the state of these facilities. Now I'm not talking about vandalism on the doors and such, I'm talking about how they are cleaned. Sure some say that Millard uses top notch chemicals to make sure that no germs are there for use the next day, but lets be serious, germs live everywhere a human can come into contact. They live in deep sea methane vents for goodness sake. It's not that I'm paranoid about germs, it's the sight of cleanliness. If we are a world class education, shouldn't world educated faculty and students have access to world class restroom facilities? What I would like to see is better stalls in all bathrooms in High Schools, along with dividers between the urinals. This is for modesty because we are still in that stage where we are going through changes and maybe don't feel comfortable about our body. back to the cleanliness issue, can we also possibly train the custodial staff if that is the problem because lack of experience on issues that go on here. Now I'm sure some of you are laughing at this idea but it is what has to be said. It's these small little things are that are overlooked and are overdue for a rework and redo.
