I have seen this implemented in other schools and the results are amazing. Basically, it is a volunteer program for Dads to be present in the parking lots during drop off, pick up and in the halls during school. The show of force (lets face it children respect male figures) and the male presence discourages bad behavior and instills security. The hard part is scheduling. Dads can volunteer, 1 hour, 1/2 day, every week, once a month, one time only, whatever they could afford. Dad's get involved, kids are secure, schools are safe. It is a great program.
