How about having a parent award at each school with nominations taken from teachers for parents who have been engaged with the school and teachers all year long working to address issues within the classroom or school.. as well as a teacher award at each school with nominations taken from the parents for teachers who have been helpful, supportive and engaged with the students and parents all year..an "above and beyond" kind of thing! I think this would promote parent teacher cooperation and be an incentive for both parents and teachers to work together for the good of the students/classroom/school.
