...redesigning the existing buildings. I recall the recent bond proposal to raise property taxes (I think that's what it was anyway) to pay for a bunch of remodeling of the buildings, game fields/etc. I realize some of it was for building repairs/etc (which nobody was going to argue with) but asking for money for remodeling when you knew you were going to need money for education itself, struck me as shortsighted and stupid. That or they were hoping everyone would say yes to the first one, and then they'd ask for more money for the education part later on again.

The future is STEM oriented, that's where money should be getting funneled to.
