I suggest a place on this site where we can recognize the great work of the staff. I envision something like the photo collections on the front page for Awards & Achievements, and Marvelous Millard Moments, but we don't always have a photo to go along with the recognition for our wonderful district staff.

I would like to be able to go on there and thank Mrs. Bonn at Millard South for sending emails home when our son does well on a quiz or test after he had come in for extra help. We would like to recognize Mr. Meyer and Mr. Comstock at Andersen Middle School for being such positive role models for our son.

There are so many other wonderful deeds that go unrecognized because of the time and detail it takes to complete an Employee of the Month nomination. But it would take 2 minutes for a parent to comment on here about a good deed of the day.

It would provide a lot of positive experiences to be shared and allow teachers to feel appreciated throughout the year.
