To coincide with healthier eating options in the schools, making sure that students are getting out of school, having the opportunity (while being monitored) to get some fresh air, and during the winter months, incorporating some activities to keep the energy up and the brain active. i.e. 10 jumping jacks or 10 minutes of yoga. I know students may ahve physical education types of courses etc. but little activities implemented throughout the day instead of only during one class period can in turn keep students very produtive.
