I would like to see a complete ban of all food products in the Millard classrooms. We have so many allergic children. This would protect them. My son is thankfully not allergic but I do not like having less control over what he is eating on any given day. Between birthday treats, candy prizes for raising the most whatever, soda prizes for the whole class motivators, and candy used as teaching aides our children are constantly consumeing unneeded junk. I am trying to reduce sugar, dyes, and processed food in his diet but don't want to make him feel different by not being able to share in whatever is going on in the classroom.
