I saw this article today on the Duke TIP Facebook page. This describes my son exactly. Since he was in preschool, he could build anything. He is fascinated with how things works, etc. We talk to him all the time about what type of engineer he would like to be. We are involved at Iowa State, so he is exposed to college students that are in several different engineering programs, which is exciting for him because he sees now all the different things he can possibly do.
He sometimes struggles with the reading and writing at school, but we work at it.
