I've never heard of this concept before. I'm not sure what kind of success in getting people to be part of the PTA is, but I would think there would be more involvement without a fee. I planned on getting involved when we moved here and then saw there was a fee, we are strapped for money, and thought that was crazy. Why is there a fee for this? Can anyone explain the rationale for this concept?
