Having 2 students at Millard West, I am in support of this idea; however, I feel privacy needs to be protected and respected - because ultimately the family, community, and school are affected as well. Increasing awareness and communication, and reviewing each case individually and confidentially can help alleviate unnecessary rumors and stereotyping.
It's important to remember that everyone has their own way of growing up and allowing for - and respecting such - adds to the norms of diversity outside of which is already defined and written.
