Has anyone organized a carpool system or held a social event to connect parents who would like to find someone to carpool with? If so, how does it work? I would like to suggest that our parent group sponsors a social event, with one of the objectives being to connect parents who would like to carpool. Is anyone doing this or has anyone tried this in the past? If not, are there reasons it wouldn't work?
