I'm wondering how other Millard parents feel about this? At the middle school level my son leads his own with teachers nearby. I like this idea. Elementary though is a different story. It seems like the atmosphere of elementary schools is that they are quite put out by having to meet with parents and you dare not expect more than the required slot unless there is a major issue to discuss. My daughter's teacher even ended our meeting before our time was up. Even more disappointing is when we as parents took the time to go speak with our child's other teachers - gym, music, art, etc. The music teacher only nodded "yes" or "no" to our questions and truly never spoke a word to us, literally. I find that sad.
