Since we offer a free and appropriate education shouldn't busing be free? I drive my two middle school students to Beadle every day - because they would have to be on the bus by 6:57 AM. I think this is too early for kids to be on the bus - especially since they would be on the bus for over 30 minutes. I also do this to save money. I would have to pay out $30/week normally (over $1,000/year) if my kids were to take the bus to and from Beadle. By taking them I will only pay $15/week. The traffic congestion is terrible. If more affordable busing was offered with shorter time on the bus, I'm sure more parents would use it and the traffic problem would improve greatly.
